A project all about nostalgia. Nostalgia for a time in childhood where so many events were focused around trees and the outdoors. Looking back on that time we have many fond memories, but embedded in that collective nostalgia are darker moments that are often best forgotten.

The bonsai treehouses are meant for exhibition, both the living trees and ones in a state of decay. As photos they take on a slightly different tone, being a little more clinical in their observation.
